Rever app

Bom e pratico

Great app BUT, expensive

I love the app, but Im not willing to pay 60$ per year to use it. And this app is great if you have a lot of friends who use it, and I know no one whos willing to pay that...

Great Riding App

Awesome tool to plan and track our rides. Looking forward to future updates

The only way to get Butler maps electronically?

For this alone, I give it 4 stars. You need to pay, but $6 was worth it for finding some of those roads. I couldnt care less about the "find your buddies/ post your rides" stuff. There are definitely some bugs - keep working on it guys!

Best moto trip editor on mobile

Rever is by far the best way to edit your next motorcycle trip on your Ipad. :)

Log in and password

Waist of time logging in. One should simply open the app and use it! Unnecessary waist of time while wanting to check out a route on the bike.

Needs Help

SLOW SLOW SLOW map rendering. In its current state there is no way to quickly tell if there are any good roads nearby and how to get to them. Premium subscription shows the best roads from Butler maps which is great, but without the ability to route or export the information to an app that can route, the whole thing quickly becomes an exercise in frustration.

Why would a rider ever get a Garmin?

This is a great little app for planning and tracking ride routes. Is it perfect yet, no, but the development team is working hard to make devices like Garmins obsolete. And, their support is top notch! Go on, get it, you know you want to. I actually ponied up for the premium service, and it is well worth it.

Great App.

Great app to track and share your ride. with the new update, now you can share photos. Awesome app overall.

No Turn-by-turn?

I subscribed to Pro yesterday and although I figured $6/mo was pretty steep just for Butler maps (among a few other features) I’d try it out. I planned a nice ride with a friend and downloaded the map to my iPhone. I’m used to using Waze and Apple Maps on my bike while I ride, so I assumed this would be something similar… wrong. The app is decidedly unhelpful for actual riding. It shows you where you actually are and a a slug trail behind you of where you’ve been. I missed a few turns because I had no idea when they were coming up. I decided to scrap the Rever app halfway through the ride and bring up Apple Maps to get us to the breakfast spot reliably. Seems like a good idea until you actually ride. The planning part of the site is really nice and it sold me, but what good is it if you’re basically back to highlighting a paper map stuck in the window of a tank bag like 1993?

Great app

It works great. Had a issues with it before and email customer support and they responded very quickly and professional.

Solid app

Ive used Rever on a few trips so far and it has worked flawlessly. Its even better for planning routes for future reference. Although, I find it works best when cross-checked with a Butler map. Costumer service (via email) was second to none!

Bad with battery

Nice App but use a lot battery on background approx. 85% of the total. Thats why Im going you uninstall it.

A fun way to track rides and plan them!

This works great as a simple gps app for motorcycles. This paired with my Ram mount on the KLR means all day riding bliss.

Battery Monster

The app is fun. But unfortunately it eats too much battery under the background even after I quit the application. Had to uninstall it.

Rever

This app is a God send for bikers. I recently found this and immediately started trying it out. I really like being able to plan my rides on my PC then follow the App on my iPhone. Support has always been available with quick understandable responses to all of my questions.

Love it!

Great being able to plan a ride at home or download a GPX file into the computer and have it all sync automatically.

A Nav App for Beyond Starbucks

Most annoying is how many people keep asking "what app is that?" when I share my rides online

SUBSCRIPTION BASED

Fair warning: the features you want to use - road recommendations, some of the GPS features, etc - are ONLY available if you pay the monthly $5.99 subscription or $60 annual. Not cool, Rever.

Good app, few quirks

Great app overall, much better for a motorcyclist than the native GPS on a smart phone. The only thing that bugs me is that I have to log on to a computer to create a ride. It would be nice if I could plot s course from the app on my phone.
